Landis Maitland-Whitelaw - Caravan

I wrote this piece in 2007, It was my first commissioned piece of music and was for a son who played jazz guitar. I structured this piece using predominately Major 6 chords. Generally these chords are used in endings but I found that when used within the piece they give a nice jazz sound. Caravan is classically structured but give off a jazz vibe. It can be played as a solo guitar work or with a trio.

You can hear a representation of the piece here on SoundCloud.
