Musical NotationNoodling In Concert F Minor
Chamber-Solo-Alto Saxophone-D minor.
Includes some long tones, dynamics and articulations and an all round nice piece.
Another Day in Paradise
Chamber-Solo-Violin
This piece was written while at anchor on a sailboat in a cove in Barbuda in the Caribbean, on April 2008. While lounging on the boat I would feel the movement of the waves, see fish jumping out of the water being chased by a turtle with the sun coming down and being cooled by a gentle breeze. Another day in Paradise.
Celebration
Chamber-Solo-Organ
Celebration is an organ solo, it was originally written as a duet for classical guitar and organ and was premiered as such at my daughters wedding.

“…(Maitland-Whitelaw’s) music is a fusion of jazz, contemporary classical and some pretty nifty “pop” sounds…put a little bit of Rodrigo, a dash of Joe Pass, fill with disco, “pop,” …season with the Blues and a trace of Folk and what have you got? Well, if it were a drink you’d say it’s smooth, but it’s got a surprising and delightful aftertaste and EVEN a bit of a kick!”
